Virtual Hearing Instructions

Cherokee Nation District Court

Virtual Hearings - Instructions

You do not have to purchase Microsoft Teams to participate – attendance in the video conferences through the online link is free of charge. However, you do need to have a device with access to the internet to be able to appear virtually, via video and audio, on the docket.

Online court attendance is only allowed for initial appearances (arraignments) on criminal matters and traffic tickets/citations. All other court appearances must be in person, unless specifically allowed to attend virtually due to an in-person court closure.

It is solely the Defendant and or Attorney's responsibility to make sure they can login, and remain logged in until the case has been called. If you are requesting a bench warrant be recalled you must appear in person.

If you cannot appear in person or virtually you may still request a continuance through the regular process.

An in-person appearance is always preferred. Technology issues may result in a Bench Warrant being issued.

Once you have Microsoft Teams installed on your device click the appropriate link below for the docket you wish to attend.
